Position Overview:

Raenest is looking for a strategic and data-driven Senior Business Operations Manager to help us scale our operations with precision and clarity. You’ll lead efforts to improve internal processes, strengthen documentation, and increase operational stability across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth fintech environments, can connect dots across departments, and knows how to bring structure to complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, optimise, and own core business processes to increase efficiency, reduce friction, and improve execution.
  • Build and maintain robust internal documentation, operational playbooks, and SOP's.
  • Proactively identify operational gaps and inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury and Customer Success to drive operational readiness and reliability.
  • Implement tooling and dashboards to track key operational metrics and workflows.
  • Lead post-mortems, root-cause analyses, and process reviews after incidents or failures.
  • Guide and encourage a documentation-first culture, and support onboarding.
  • Help manage vendor and partner integrations with a strong focus on operational flow and SLA's.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or fintech ops roles.
    Strong process thinking with proven experience optimising workflows in growing teams.
    Excellent data skills: comfortable building queries and dashboards in Metabase or similar BI tools.
    Proficiency with operational and collaboration tools like Notion, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), JIRA, Slack, and Zapier.
  • Proficiency with workflow and process automation tools.
  • Highly organised with exceptional follow-through.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in fintech, payments, or digital financial products
