ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Climate Finance Project Manager is dedicated to fighting the climate crisis, income inequality, and air pollution through community-driven financing and inclusive growth. The Climate Finance Project Manager will have the opportunity to support project developers and entrepreneurs seeking to raise meaningful funds through community-driven financing. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to fighting the climate crisis and income inequality,. They thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and are prepared to support the issuers in putting their best foot forward to investors of all levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as primary point of contact for project developers and climate entrepreneurs (Issuers) raising capital on Raise Green, managing the relationship and project timeline from onboarding to launch through regular meetings, ensuring the timely completion of projects and successful raises

  • Manage multiple Issuer projects simultaneously, providing guidance and expertise on fundraising strategies and approaches utilizing community financing (Regulation CF)

  • Review all Issuer submitted materials to ensure it meets both Raise Green’s and our partners’ diligence criteria and is compliant with securities laws and rules

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Investor Relations to maximize the success of launched projects

  • Analyze incoming dealflow with executives for potential and line of sight to development

  • Align projects with Raise Green’s long-term strategy and initiatives

  • Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication internally and externally

  • Organize and maintain project related files, materials, and correspondence

  • Collaborate to prepare and maintain reports, presentations, documentation, and project material

  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, standards and practices

  • Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties

  • Perform other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work full-time, salaried

  • Located in or near New Haven, CT, for periodic visits to the HQ; semi-remote if desired

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 3+ years of work experience in clean energy, climate change science or economics, financial services, fintech, fundraising, project management, law or a similar role

  • Experience working in a regulatory environment and/or in a start-up is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organization, networking, time management, and accounting skills

  • Passion for solving the climate crisis, social justice, sustainable finance, and the environment

  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information

  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

  • Willing to take initiative, run with assignments, and step into new responsibilities quickly

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Salary range dependent on experience: $65k-80k

  • Eligible for company equity!

  • Flexible working schedule

  • Primarily-remote
