SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Engineering team. Together with the team, you’ll own the quality of Rasa Pro, our Conversation AI infrastructure product, which enables Enterprise developers to build, deploy, and maintain complex AI assistants in a production environment.

Full-time - 100% remote - Location: UK, Germany or Serbia

• This is a remote position, but we cannot hire anybody outside of the UK, Germany, or Serbia for this position.

• Rasa can assist with work authorization (visa sponsorship) for candidates located in Germany only.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission. You will collaborate closely with our other QA Engineers to define and implement robust quality assurance and test automation processes. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll make an impact on your team by:

• Collaborating with ML engineers to test new models and product features, and write automated tests.

• Performing regular exploratory testing of new features to ensure smooth releases and minimize bugs in production.

• Writing automated tests and reviewing code to maintain the integrity and code quality of our Python codebase.

• Collaborating with ML Engineers to develop and automate our model benchmarking capabilities.

• Optimizing CI pipelines (using Github Actions) to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Providing valuable insights and asking the right questions during feature development to prioritize quality at every stage.

ABOUT YOU

You're passionate about software quality engineering and believe in fostering a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. You excel at:

• Performing thorough exploratory testing to uncover potential issues.

• Writing automated integration tests and end-to-end tests for ML-based features, using Python-based frameworks like Pytest, integrating with various infrastructure elements. Ideally 3+ years of experience with Python and 5+ years in test automation.

• Leveraging Docker for containerization and streamlining development workflows.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus.

MEET YOUR TEAM

You will join the Engine squad; a team of 2-3 ML Engineers, 1 Backend Engineer, and a Tech Lead, hailing from various places around the world, and currently working remotely from Germany, Serbia, and the UK. You’ll collaborate with a Product Manager, report to an Engineering Manager and collaborate with other QA engineers, in and outside the tribe.
