Rate Pro ensures that mortgage loan officers can provide their clients with the most affordable and convenient pricing & value options. Rate Pro started out as PMI Rate Pro, which is a mortgage insurance comparison tool. When homebuyers put less than 20% down, they are required to private mortgage insurance. Only lenders can shop private mortgage insurance but it took 30 minutes to get PMI quotes from all of the PMI providers. We created a Kayak of PMI and started selling directly to mortgage lenders and wholesalers. We are still revolutionizing the mortgage insurance space by building an end-to-end PMI servicing solution. But as part of our bigger mission, we are evolving to provide a platform for mortgage lenders to help their buyers shop other monthly expenses such as homeowner's insurance, life insurance, home warranty, umbrella insurance etc.
