Role Description

This is an internship role for a Web-app frontend engineer Intern at Re CAE. As a Web-app frontend engineer Intern, you will be responsible in day-to-day tasks focused on creating user-centric designs for space operation software. This is a remote role that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and deploying software solutions in the space technology industry. Key responsibilities include:

• Create mindblowing frontend designs for the next generation of spacecraft design platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software features.
• Contribute to the development of user interfaces for the space operations platform.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
• Document software designs, test plans, and user documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and tools, esp. NextJS and ReactJS.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and justify design decisions
• Knowledge of space industry trends and a passion for innovative and intuitive design is a plus
• Ability to work independently and remotely
