Who we are

Reason Studios have been pioneers in the music industry since the dawn of the classic loop editor ReCycle and ReBirth, which emulated the TB-303 Roland Bass Line and TR-808 Drum Machine hardware. These days, we concentrate on Reason, a digital audio workstation known for its virtual Rack interface, which offers a modular approach to music production. Reason Studios software has played a crucial role in electronic music and hip-hop ever since the start.

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Backend team. You will be a part of an autonomous team of currently four senior developers. As we have progressively been moving all our services to the cloud, we're now looking to strengthen our operation abilities.

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Reason Studios, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust, scalable systems as well as implementing observability and ensuring our services can be deployed in a fast, seamless and secure manner.

The position includes hands on coding as well as initiation, planning and managing of technical projects, which means communicating with several departments concerning overlapping tech solutions.

At Reason Studios, we value teamwork and collaboration. We work in an agile manner and always aim for collaboration and knowledge sharing around all projects. Our roles are not set in stone, and there's plenty of room to take on additional responsibilities if necessary.

Who are you?

To feel comfortable in this role, you’ve probably worked as an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer for a couple of years, and have a solid understanding of and interest in cloud native architecture, scalable systems and infrastructure as code. You should also have experience with actual coding, as this might become necessary from time to time. You need to be comfortable in both spoken and written English.

• Programming and software development lifecycle
• IaC tools such as Terraform
• Container orchestration
• Implementing observability and monitoring

It is advantageous if you have experience with:

• Implementing CI/CD solutions
• AWS
• Information security
• Python
• JavaScript
