About REEV

At REEV, we aim to help millions with walking disorders overcome their disabilities by becoming more autonomous and independent in their daily movements. To achieve this mission, we are developing intelligent wearable robotics that restore mobility freedom, providing lightweight and intuitive assistance to walk, stand, sit, and climb stairs easily and confidently. We do this because we believe everyone deserves to enjoy their mobility to the fullest every day, regardless of their level of disability or age.

  • Challenge internal engineering teams, suppliers, and integrators in a design-to-cost approach.
  • Draft, manage, and optimize the assembly, integration, and test (V&V) flowchart of the product and associated documentation (definition and design of tooling, updating AIT procedures, optimizing operator times).
  • Manage suppliers (challenge costs through competitive bidding) and product integrator activities (operator training, control of operation reports, management of non-conformities, etc.).
  • Participate in medical device quality monitoring (documentary QMS, production QMS, and material vigilance).
  • Monitor logistics of units in production.
  • Prepare, lead, and coordinate audits and inspections.
  • Participate to a lesser extent in the design of new products and testing.

Skills

With a general engineering background (mechanical or electrical engineering would be a plus), you have strong experience in a similar position. These experiences include:
  • Managing and leading engineering teams, particularly in a startup or fast-growing company environment.
  • Managing suppliers/integrators in manufacturing a mechanical or electronic product.
  • Managing an industrial file to manufacture an electromechanical product.
  • Design of mechatronic products: understanding mechanical, electronic, and software constraints and challenges; and acting as the interface between different disciplines.
  • Applying a medical QMS for FDA and CE clearances.
  • Exhaustive knowledge of regulatory & quality requirements applicable to medical devices.
  • Understanding business operations, strategy, and growth. Able to align the technical team’s efforts with the broader business goals and vision.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong writing skills and rigorous file construction.
