Minneapolis Based.Why This Role MattersOwnership, systems thinking, and relentless problem-solving are at the heart of driving operational excellence for assignors and referees across the country.Operational Excellence — Build and maintain scalable processes that empower our growing client base of assignors and officials associations.Problem Elimination — Identify root causes, design solutions, and remove recurring issues so they never happen again.Scalable Growth — Create systems and documentation that enable the team to scale without adding complexity.What You'll Do (Customer Operations Analyst)Client Onboarding & Implementation — Design and execute seamless onboarding processes that set clients up for long-term success on the Refr platform.Root Cause Problem Solving — Don't just fix issues — identify patterns, build solutions, and eliminate recurring problems at their source.Financial Operations — Own invoicing and payroll processes for officials, building systems that ensure accuracy and scale.Process Documentation — Create and maintain operational playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge bases that enable the team to scale.Operational Coverage — Provide weekend and evening coverage to ensure seamless operations when games are happening.Continuous Improvement — Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then design and implement solutions to remove them.What We're Looking ForIn-Person in Minneapolis — Fully in-person in Minneapolis's North Loop office.Committed & Driven — Comfortable working 50+ hour weeks to support our growing client base.Systems Thinker — You don't just solve problems — you build systems that prevent them from happening again.Strong Communicator — Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.Detail-Oriented — Solid attention to detail, especially when working with financial data and processes.AI-Forward & Resourceful — Leverage AI and new tools to automate, optimize, and scale operations.Ownership Mentality — You take full accountability and drive solutions rather than escalating problems.Compensation & Benefits$60K - $100K base salary (competitive salary based on experience).Meaningful equity — Ownership in the company.How to ApplyReach out to Wyatt Gustafson at wyatt@refrsports.com.
