People Operations Generalist (Short-term)

Responsibilities
- Assist with new-hire orientation and team member onboarding, including verifying I9’s
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefit enrollments and team member contact/personal information in Gusto
- Manage all incoming notices and requests from local, state, and federal agencies keeping Regard in compliance
- Facilitate new hire orientations and conduct exit interviews
- Document and manage all payroll changes and updates
- Assist in coordinating and executing bi-annual reviews
- Assist in the rollout of internal processes and programs and revamp current employee programs owned by People Operations to ensure continued effectiveness
- Ensure the company is compliant by managing annual required training such as harassment and Workplace Violence training
- Collaborate with the People Team and other stakeholders to drive People team initiatives and ad hoc projects to support the team toward business goals
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field of study, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of HR experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a tech startup
- Experience with implementation and management of an HRIS
- Knowledgeable in U.S. employment laws
- Proficient in Mac, G-Suite and Slack

- Proficiency in project management and strong analytical and reporting abilities
- Experience prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic environment with competing demands while keeping partners well-advised of progress
- Experience in employee onboarding and separations
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
