Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for the admin tool, focusing on dashboards, data visualization, and enterprise UI needs
- Work with clients to understand their requirements, pain points, and workflows, and incorporate their feedback into designs
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align on project goals, user needs, and business objectives
- Design intuitive and effective information architectures, ensuring users can navigate and interpret complex data with ease
- Create visually compelling and consistent UI designs that adhere to brand guidelines and best practices for accessibility and usability
- Develop and maintain design specifications, style guides, and components for the design system to support the development team
- Work effectively in a dynamic startup environment, managing priorities and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality designs on time
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer working collaboratively with designers, researchers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Expertise in designing dashboards and data visualization interfaces
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with creating and maintaining design systems.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating on designs based on feedback
- Willingness to travel as needed for user research and company on-sites

- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a high-growth startup or agency environment
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with clients and articulate design decisions clearly
- Passion for healthcare innovation: a genuine interest in contributing to the advancement of healthcare through user-centered design and technology
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology, regulations, and workflow
- Experience working with enterprise software
Hybrid Work | Location | Work Authorization
- For this role, Regard is currently only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, and are within the New York City metro area
- We expect members of the R&D team members to be in the office 2 days per week. We may request more frequent in-office work during the onboarding period
- We will provide relocation assistance to anyone who does not already reside in the NYC metro area
- We prefer hiring people within commuting distance of our NYC office because we value getting together in person regularly
- For those who enjoy working from our Manhattan office on a more regular basis, we offer catered lunches and other fun perks
- Additionally, hybrid employees have the flexibility to work from locations outside of their home office from up to 6 weeks per year
