Role Description
We are seeking a seasoned and driven B2B Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling compliance, fraud prevention, and regulatory solutions to fintechs, microfinance banks, and other financial institutions. This role demands a strategic and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the financial sector’s compliance needs in the African market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand our client base within the target market. Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their specific compliance and regulatory needs, and positioning our platform as the ideal solution. Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the fintech and financial services industries. Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and market demands. Provide market insights and feedback to inform product enhancements and ensure our platform remains at the forefront of compliance technology. Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Ambition, motivation and smart thinking
- Passion as a self-starter who is self-directed and able to execute independently
- A demonstrated track record and ability to find, manage, and close new business within a corporate, SaaS , B2B sales environment .
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in B2B compliance/regulatory, or other cloud/SaaS solutions for the financial services industry
- Proven success in selling B2B SaaS solutions to fintechs, microfinance banks, and related financial institutions, particularly in the African market.
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, fraud prevention, and the compliance landscape within the financial sector.
- Experience in AML/Compliance/PEP-Sanctions/Transaction Monitoring sales is preferable but not essential
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a consultative approach to close business
