Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Research and Development Scientist based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves conducting and leading research projects, developing and optimizing molecular diagnostic testing systems, and ensuring compliance with scientific methodologies and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and solve complex problems is integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction methods from various biological samples, PCR (conventional, real-time) techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of Molecular Biology and related scientific principles
• Understanding and application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the development environment
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
• MSC degree or advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Experience in medical diagnostic systems is a strong advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proven expertise in rapidly integrating into and excelling on fast-track projects, delivering results under tight deadlines.
