Founded in 2023, Reportwell is designed to streamline the often complex and time-consuming tasks associated with compliance, ensuring that educational institutions consistently meet their regulatory obligations.

Position Overview:

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. This includes managing and scaling the application, setting up the infrastructure on AWS, and leading the development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in low code development, AWS full-stack development, and is ready to contribute strategically to the product's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of our application on AWS, transitioning from Bubble to a fully coded solution.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a small but growing team of developers, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Infrastructure Setup: Design, implement, and maintain the company’s technical infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to define the technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the development team, including code reviews, task prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product development and delivery. The Full Stack Developer will be required to travel to Indianapolis consistently to collaborate with the team.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Lead the integration of AI tools and automation into our product as part of our long-term strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies.
  • Leadership: 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role within a tech team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and other relevant languages and frameworks.
  • AWS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation.
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
  • Equity: Vested equity over 4 years with a 1-year cliff
  • Bonuses: Up to 10% annual salary based on performance
