Customer Success Manager (m/f/d)

AI Agents to Bridge the Gap between Engineering & Purchasing to reduce manufacturing waste

Our founders Helena (CEO) & Ian (COO) combine over 15 years of industry experience, working with companies like SEW-Eurodrive, Terex, Bosch and Carl Zeiss. We co-founded Resourcly, a Project A-backed, industrial tech start-up to help industrial manufacturers streamline complex portfolios to improve EBIT while preventing and reducing idle inventory from being scrapped.
With our solution, we want to solve industry problems that we have tried to address for the last decade in the manufacturing companies we worked for, but that have so far been out of reach. With new technology and AI, that can finally happen.
Complex processes and products, lack of engineering talent and massive labour costs as well as a lack of intelligent automation have remained the industry's most pressing challenge. With LLMs and agents, we finally have the tools to solve this.
Our vision is that future purchasing and engineering processes will be orchestrated and run by an AI workforce - ensuring reliable and cost-efficient procurement and flow of goods in an uncertain and complicated world with finite resources.
🦾 We're already live with global manufacturing leaders in Europe
💰 Backed by one of Europe's top early-stage funds (Project A)
📈 Growing fast and hiring exceptional talent to join early
Our goal is to build a small, but excellent team, therefore we are looking for a Customer Success Manager. If you are excited to work in a very early-stage environment alongside the founding team, earn the trust of VP and C-suite stakeholders at Europe's leading manufacturers, and build the customer success playbook from scratch - please reach out.

The Role

As our Customer Success Manager, you act as the strategic advisor who ensures Resourcly's manufacturing customers realize measurable outcomes with our AI-powered platform, positioning us as an indispensable partner in their operations. This is not a traditional customer success role. It is a high-ownership, high-visibility position for someone who can operate independently, navigate complex enterprise environments, and bring structure to dynamic project phases.
You operate at the intersection of customer value, product strategy, and commercial growth. You shape our product roadmap through structured customer insight, influence go-to-market strategy, and build the playbook for how we win and retain enterprise manufacturing customers at scale. This role reports to the Director of Customer & Supplier Success and works closely with the Founders, Product, Sales, and Marketing, giving you full organizational visibility and strategic influence from day one.

🪄 Key Responsibilities

Own onboarding end-to-end: Drive customers from contract signature to go-live with implementation plans, kickoffs, and discovery sessions that deliver time-to-value within 60-90 days
Be the trusted advisor: Serve as primary point of contact for strategic accounts and build deep relationships with champions, end-users, and decision-makers across supply chain, procurement, operations, IT, and finance
Educate customer leadership: Coach executives on AI adoption, organizational change management, and best practices for transforming shared inventory operations
Prove value continuously: Run business reviews and executive presentations against customer-defined KPIs, monitor health scores and usage signals, and lead structured interventions before accounts go at risk
Own renewals and expansion: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, build ROI-based business cases, and exceed quarterly growth targets
Shape the product and the playbook: Translate customer insight into structured briefs that influence the roadmap, co-author the Customer Strategy playbook with Sales, Marketing, and Founders, and drive references, case studies, and advisory boards

🧑‍🚀 Who You Are

A trusted advisor, not a ticket-closer: You earn the trust of VP and C-suite stakeholders through substance and structure. You run the room with prepared executive presentations and leave with clear next steps
Self-directed and ownership-driven: You thrive without a playbook. You define the process, spot the gaps, and close them without being asked
A strategic thinker who executes: You diagnose a complex customer situation, structure a clear hypothesis, and move toward a solution at startup speed
Commercially hungry: You are not shy about identifying upsell opportunities or building a business case. You see customer success as a revenue function, not a support function
A natural connector: You build relationships across buyer personas and seniority levels, creating champions who pull you into renewals and expansions
Relentlessly organized: You track everything, update the CRM the same day, and never drop a ball across a portfolio of complex enterprise accounts
Adaptable to early-stage ambiguity: You embrace the chaos of building from scratch and turn it into a competitive advantage

🧑‍💻 Your Capabilities

You bring 2-5 years in management consulting or a B2B SaaS startup in a customer-facing or commercial role, where you operated at a high level with limited guidance and a lot of ownership
You are a structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solver: You diagnose complex situations, develop clear action plans, and communicate them with precision to executive audiences
You have strong executive communication and presentation skills: Proven ability to engage and influence VP and C-suite stakeholders and lead strategic business reviews
You can build and present compelling business cases and ROI models that translate platform capabilities into quantified customer value
You bring CRM discipline and operational rigor: You log interactions same-day, track account health metrics, and keep data clean and accurate (e.g. Attio)
You are comfortable in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments: You manage a portfolio of complex accounts without losing momentum or detail
You are fluent in German and English: You run enterprise-level conversations with senior stakeholders in both languages
Optional, but a plus: You have worked with industrial, supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing-related products or customers

📍 Location & Logistics

3 days in office (Mannheim, Germany) w/ frequent travel (~30-50%)
Start: As soon as possible
Compensation: Top of market (We're constrained by bandwidth, not demand - great time to negotiate)

How to Apply

Please send your CV together with a brief introduction to our Founders Associate Nils (nils@resourcly.com) and we will get back to you!

🌍 Note from Helena, CEO of Resourcly

What drives me personally is the deep belief that Germany and Europe's long-term prosperity and sovereignty depend on a strong, independent economic engine. To secure that future, we need more AI product-first European champions on the global stage - building not just great software, but foundational systems that change how industries operate today.
My mission is to build one of the world's biggest automation companies for manufacturing - from Europe. While our headquarters will remain European, our ambition is global. From day one, we benchmark ourselves against the very best in the world and design our product for international scale.
But there's something deeper that fuels this: the transition to a circular economy. I've seen firsthand how complexity in supply chains leads to waste, and how intransparency drives inefficiency - and, inevitably, more waste. In a world of shrinking resources and rising expectations, this is not just an environmental problem - it's a business and economic imperative.
At Resourcly, we're building the infrastructure to turn unused resources into opportunities, to match supply and demand across silos, and to help manufacturers become more resilient, efficient, and circular - without needing to overhaul their entire systems.
If you share this drive - to make global impact through technology, and to build a more circular, sovereign industrial base for Europe - we would love to hear from you.
