Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated User Experience & Product Insights Intern to support our team. This role will contribute to understanding how users interact with our platform and provide actionable insights to improve the overall user experience. You’ll help ensure smooth engagement with users, monitor in-app surveys, coordinate feedback sessions, and translate qualitative and quantitative data into recommendations for the product and development teams.

The internship offers a part-time schedule with flexibility to balance other responsibilities while gaining hands-on experience. Reporting directly to the founding team, this role is remote, allowing candidates to work from any location with reliable internet access. Responsibilities will vary, offering a broad range of experiences in product analytics, user research, content creation, and dashboard reporting. Approximately 30% of the intern’s time will be spent on monitoring and analyzing user data, 25% on user engagement and Coffee Chats, 20% on creating Quick Guides, FAQ sheets, and interactive walkthroughs, 15% on reporting and dashboards, and 10% on ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor user behavior and survey completion in PostHog to track feature adoption and engagement trends.
• Coordinate and conduct Coffee Chats with users to gather qualitative feedback.
• Summarize survey responses, usage patterns, and feedback into high-level recommendations for the product and development teams.
• Create Quick Guides and FAQ sheets to improve the user experience and support onboarding.
• Design a simple interactive walkthrough for Career Companion to enhance feature adoption and usability.
• Build visual dashboards in PostHog to communicate user behavior trends to leadership.
• Monitor inbound user emails and respond or escalate as appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional projects to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (Google Docs, Notion, Slack) and willingness to learn new platforms (PostHog, Loom, Supademo).
• Interest in user experience, product design, analytics, and tech startups is highly desirable.
