At Rezilient Health, we’re not telehealth and we’re not your typical doctor’s office — we’re the best of both worlds, transforming how primary care is delivered.

We’re searching for a detail-driven and motivated Staff Accountant ready to own key accounting processes and help shape the future of our finance operations. In this dynamic role, you’ll take full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and lead the month-end close from start to finish. You’ll also be instrumental in preparing financial statements and driving a broad range of general ledger activities.

If you bring strong analytical skills, a hands-on mindset, and exceptional attention to detail, combined with advanced Excel proficiency to tackle and interpret complex data, this is your chance to be part of building scalable, efficient accounting systems in a fast-growing healthcare startup. Join us and make a real impact as we redefine primary care from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close & General Ledger: Prepare and post accurate journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, reclassifications, and other general ledger adjustments. Take ownership of the preparation and reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable and payable. Drive a timely and accurate month-end close by maintaining and updating close checklists, ensuring all supporting documentation is thorough, well-organized, and audit-ready.
  • Financial Accuracy & Controls: Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances promptly. Ensure all transactions comply with GAAP and internal company policies. Support the design, implementation, and documentation of internal controls to strengthen financial reporting integrity.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analyses. Provide detailed account analyses and clear explanations to support internal management reporting and external audit processes.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial data flows into the general ledger. Drive improvements in accounting procedures, tools, and documentation. Contribute to audit readiness and support ad hoc finance projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience managing journal entries, reconciliations, and full month-end close cycles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Experience with accounting platforms such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy and process excellence.

This opportunity offers the chance to shape the future of healthcare in a culture where your ideas and contributions have a meaningful impact on the organization's future. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team, with competitive compensation and benefits that include generous PTO, paid family leave, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as stock options.
