Job Description
JOB TITLE: Program Facilitator STEM CAMP Summer Program (4th and 5th BIL/ESL students)
REPORTS TO: Director of Stem and Innovation
PRIMARY PURPOSE: The role of the Program Facilitator is to lead and direct the staff in STEM Camp Summer Program
Qualifications
Certifications:
The instructional facilitator will be assigned to supervise the STEM Camp Summer Program. The facilitator will assist with teacher training and monitoring of the enrichment virtual program to ensure fidelity. It is the facilitator’s responsibility to assist teachers in planning engaging lessons, ensure teachers are following the curriculum provided and delivering high quality instruction. In addition, the facilitator will assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining records, attendance, progress of students as well as, properly closing with assigned procedures/guidelines and all other duties as assigned by the directors/coordinators. Appropriate dress is required as per IISD Dress Code.

Certifications:
- Valid Texas teaching certificate required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Principal’s certification preferred
- Has experience working with teachers
- Has experience as a teacher leader
- Has experience developing and supporting curriculum
- Bilingual preferred
- Irving certified teacher with a minimum of 5 years of experience (4th and 5th BIL/ESL experience preferred, but not required)
- Understands effective instructional practices in a virtual learning environment
- Able to coordinate and supervise multiple personnel
- Able to communicate with parents to encourage student participation
- Coaching experience is preferred
- Has experience working with varied student abilities and needs
- Has experience with online learning platform and resources
