Sales Development Representative (SDR)
RISE Robotics is hiring a Sales Development Representative to support our sales and product teams by researching prospects, qualifying interest, and booking meetings with potential customers and partners. This role is focused on disciplined execution, clear communication, and thoughtful preparation, with close collaboration across sales, product, and engineering.
This is a sales development role focused on research, qualification, and meeting generation through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and CRM outreach.
What you’ll do
- Research target companies, contacts, and market segments
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria
- Conduct outreach to prospective customers and partners through phone calls, emails, and online outreach
- Book qualified meetings and coordinate scheduling
- Support pre- and post–industry event outreach and meeting coordination
- Prepare concise internal briefs to support productive meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot
- Communicate progress, patterns, and issues to internal stakeholders
- Capture and share market feedback with product and leadership teams
What success looks like
- Meetings are consistently well-qualified and productive
- Internal stakeholders are prepared and not surprised by meeting context or outcomes
- CRM data is accurate, timely, and reflects real activity and decisions
- Outreach effectiveness improves over time based on observed results
- You reliably meet agreed-upon objectives related to activity, qualification, or meetings
- You represent the RISE brand professionally and accurately with technical audiences
- 1-3 years SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar role with explicit performance expectations
- Demonstrated experience being measured against defined goals (for example: meetings booked, qualified conversations, pipeline contribution, or similar outcomes)
- Experience researching companies, accounts, or markets to support outbound or targeted outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent a technical product clearly and accurately
- Experience using a CRM (HubSpot or equivalent) to manage leads, activities, and follow-up with discipline
- Demonstrated reliability in execution, preparation, and follow-through
- Comfort operating in a role where tactics and priorities may evolve, while expectations around accountability remain high
- Experience with outbound sales activities through phone calls, emails, and other forms of online outreach
- Experience utilizing AI to help enhance your outreach and improve your research
- Experience working independently, and taking a proactive communication approach to team collaboration

This role is eligible for base and bonus. The on target earnings (OTE) approximately $70k.
This position does sit at 1 Union Square, Somerville, MA, 4-days per week, with 1 remote day.
