Call for entries - SAT Sponsorship

For interested students between Senior Secondary School (SS3) and Two Hundred Level (200) level in a Nigerian secondary school or tertiary institution to apply for and write SAT tests sponsored by Eke Urum founder of Risevest and Rumexx Foundation, a foundation dedicated to improving the quality of lives of Nigerians.

Eke Urum through the Rumexx Foundation and Risevest technologies will cover all the fees required for applying and writing the SAT examinations for 14 deserving students, two from each of the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria and the FCT.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must be between SS3 and 200 level in any Nigerian school.
• They must possess a minimum of five credits in English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects in WASSCE or NECO.
• They must be Nigerian citizens living in Nigeria.

Steps to follow:

• Between 1000 and 1200 words, write an essay detailing why you are deserving of this sponsorship. Deadline for submission is 11:59 pm on Friday, 30th August.
• Shortlisted applicants will then write a mock SAT test organised in partnership with Educare.
• The top 14 scorers receive the sponsorship.

What is the SAT?

The Scholastic Aptitude/Assessment Test is a test administered by the U.S. College Board for admissions into American universities and colleges. High scorers stand a chance to win full or partial scholarships to enable them further their education in the U.S.
