We are looking for a reliable and highly skilled professional who can ensure our apps run smoothly and are always up-to-date. This role focuses on bug fixing, routine maintenance, and regular updates for our existing iOS applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Bug Fixing: Diagnose and resolve issues in our iOS applications promptly.
- Routine Maintenance: Regularly review and maintain app performance, security, and stability.
- App Updates: Implement updates as necessary, including iOS version upgrades and app store submissions.
- Availability: Be on standby to address any urgent issues or maintenance tasks as they arise.
- Code Quality: Maintain clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our product and development teams to ensure a seamless experience for our users.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in iOS development.
- Proficiency: Strong command of Swift, and iOS SDK.
- Debugging Skills: Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing bugs.
- App Lifecycle Knowledge: Familiarity with the entire app development lifecycle, from development to deployment and maintenance.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.
- Problem Solver: Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise updates on tasks.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with continuous integration and automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of backend services, APIs, and database management.
Contract Structure:
- Retainer: Monthly retainer fee for availability and ongoing work.
- On-Call: Must be available for immediate response to critical issues.
- Flexible Hours: Work on your own schedule as long as deadlines are met and issues are addressed promptly.
