Job Description and profile

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll carry out equity research on both foreign and Nigerian public companies and support strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and investor reporting. You’ll support key business decisions, monitor market trends, and generate reports that influence both internal strategy and customer-facing investment content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct equity research and build models for publicly listed foreign and local stocks
  • Generate stock reports, market commentaries, and performance summaries used by the investment team and shared with users.
  • Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant news, earnings reports, macroeconomic events, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with the product and content teams to ensure investment insights are translated into user-facing content (where needed).
  • Support fund and investment performance tracking, including yield, returns, and fee structures.
  • Contribute to building internal financial SOPs and automation improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, equity research, or investment management.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and proficiency in building financial models
  • Familiarity with public markets (NSE & US markets) and experience using data platforms like Bloomberg, TradingView, or Yahoo Finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy and insight.
  • Experience using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
