Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Louisville, Kentucky facility, you will lead our maintenance team to keep our equipment, utilities, and facilities performing at their best. You will focus on eliminating failures, reducing downtime, and strengthening processes that help the plant operate safely and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with plant leaders, encourage continuous improvement within your team, and ensure maintenance strategies align with our broader company goals.

A Taste Of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead all maintenance activities across equipment, utilities, and facilities to support strong plant performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Support, mentor, and guide the Maintenance team to help them succeed in their daily work and long-term growth.
  • Foster a plantwide safety mindset by incorporating safety considerations into all maintenance plans and actions.
  • Use maintenance metrics and reporting to improve transparency, decision‑making, and alignment with plant objectives.
  • Manage and monitor the department’s operating budget and adjust spending proactively when needed.
  • Participate in planning and estimating for annual and long‑range capital budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and operational permits.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations across the plant, including HVAC systems, electrical equipment, motors, control units, and building infrastructure.
  • Evaluate work completed by both employees and contractors to ensure consistent quality.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds, recommending improvements to support operational needs.


Ingredients Required For Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance management role.
  • 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with software such as CAD, SAP or similar systems, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience leading Preventative Maintenance and Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Experience with facilities operations managing both projects and people preferred


Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $81,000.00 - $125,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
