Hourly Rate: $34.84 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
- Operate the steam boiler, including daily functional checks and preventative maintenance.
- Operate and maintain the waste water system in compliance with site and environmental standards.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on boiler, waste water, and utility equipment.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain pumps to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Document work performed and communicate system or equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures for utility systems.
- Experience working with industrial boilers, waste water systems, or plant utilities.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maryland T4 Waste Water Operator or Industrial Wastewater Works Operator, Class 2
- Maryland Grade 3 Stationary Engineer
