Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners – promptly assisting and handling requests for sales support or information as needed.
  • Input annual business plan in the Trade Management tool and maintain trade events in the tool
  • Collaborate with deductions team to verify that deductions from the customer are accurate and close deductions on a weekly basis
  • Accepting portal deals from the customer through the customer system
  • Manages and maintains Customer Price lists as requested
  • Manage and update spending tools and trends to support teams’ current position
  • Review forecast with Sr. BDMs, account managers as required
  • Support reporting and analysis including but not limited to contract management
  • Consolidate review of new items, risks and opportunities
  • Identify needs and tools to effectively arm sales and leadership team with key business metric reporting
  • Track and measure customer compliance and visibility of contracts including pricing integrity and agreement terms
  • Audit reports - For accuracy and initiate or elevate appropriate action as it relates to information errors/issues
  • Work directly with Sales team and other cross-functional partners to resolve data and/or system discrepancies to ensure most accurate information is reflected. (Examples: Weekly forecast)
  • Provide project support for Team Lead and BDMs.
  • Assist with key meeting preparations including agenda, meeting invitations and room booking
  • Introduces new items, quotes prices, credit terms, delivery dates and prepares sales contracts and sales reports.
  • Communicates regularly and effectively to inform sales team of marketplace activities, issues, and opportunities.
  • Customer accountability may range from partial accountability for one or two large accounts to full accountability for multiple small accounts
  • Responsible for representing, merchandising and selling desired mix of products within identified accounts; preparing sales presentations, contracts and proposals for specific merchandising and store shelving activities.
  • Manage trade sending for identified accounts for in-store merchandising, advertising and implement category management initiatives.
  • Responsible for delivering assigned sales and margin targets.
  • Execute assortment, pricing, and promotion plan to deliver agreed upon objectives.
  • Ensures all new product authorizations and core extensions are positioned on the retail shelf with appropriate timing, space, facings, and targeted location.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare information/ project tracking reports promptly as required by Company.


Position Qualifications

  • Must be available to work 3 days a week in office in Mississauga
  • Bilingual preferred
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-year related experience. CPG preferred.
  • A team player, with superior customer-service acumen and a demonstrated ability to network with other departments
  • Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP (S4, TMA) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills and highly detail oriented
  • Sales planning and sales execution experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications. (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must have strong negotiation skills.
  • Must be capable of effectively interpreting and using multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options.
  • Effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates initiative and perseverance.

Compensation

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
