A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
- Organize, implement, train, and monitor the plant sanitation team, processes, and methods
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation activities
- Maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture regulations, the Plant Improvement Plan, and the Environmental Swabbing Program
- Partner with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement of sanitation processes and practices
- Conduct routine plant inspections and sanitation audits, tracking corrective actions to completion
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and chemical usage requirements
- Escalate food safety or sanitation concerns to management in a timely manner
- High school diploma or GED
- Food manufacturing experience is required
- Three years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with food safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Safe Quality Food standards, and sanitary practices
- Experience working with government regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture
- Knowledge of Clean In Place and Clean Out of Place systems
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance fundamentals
- Microbiological knowledge is recommended

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $63,000.00 - $80,000.00
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
