Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $17.00 an hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Must be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines.
• Work with maintenance Manager/Supervisors and Maintenance lead to implement changes that have been identified.
• Work effectively with other departments.
• Prepare production lines for production.
• Perform sanitations as needed.
• Equipment:
• Have operational knowledge of all equipment in the area.
• Have equipment ready to run at start of shift.
• Assist other maintenance in repair of line equipment when necessary.
• Tools:
• Must be able to use mechanical tools and shop equipment.
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude in order to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment.
• Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Manager/Supervisors and Maintenance Lead.
  
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• You will be doing frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), turning, twisting, and squatting.
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude. May be required to take a mechanical test.
• Must have computer skills and be able to acquire the appropriate skills in parsiable.
• You will be required to follow the Birds Eye Foods attendance policy for the Waseca Plant.
  
  
  

Experience

FTO, Computer, and Mechanical experience a plus

Pay is commensurate with experience with a step progression.

Waseca, MN Plant

Work Environment

Wet, noisy, variable temperature depending on time of year.
