A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
- Develop new products from concept development through successful commercialization
- Design and conduct plant trials and support new product start‑ups
- Create and manage product development schedules to meet project timelines
- Work with pilot plant equipment to support formulation and process development
- Learn and use the online specification system and workflow processes
- Design and execute experiments and prepare results for technical review
- Conceptualize and develop new product prototypes
- Drive product cuttings, plant trials, and testing activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field with coursework in meat science, including muscle biology, conversion of muscle to meat, and meat processing technology with laboratory experience
- Three or more years of relevant food industry experience
- Knowledge of food product design, formulation, ingredient functionality and interaction, process design, product scale‑up, plant testing, and commercialization
- Understanding of food industry quality standards, food safety requirements, and United States Department of Agriculture regulations
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated skill communicating effectively and influencing cross‑functional partners to accomplish research goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
Compensation
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
