The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization's corporate facilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing various building systems. This role also supports snow removal, material handling, and office or furniture setups, while coordinating with vendors, assisting with event setups, and providing backup mailroom coverage as needed.
A Day in the Life...
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems as well as light carpentry work.
- Respond to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and common areas
- Assist with snow removal as needed
- Support material handling, including moving furniture and office setups
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as required
What We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of tools, materials, methods and practices in facility maintenance
- Skill in operation of power/manual tools, light/heavy equipment
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Flexible schedule (On call 1x every 3 weeks)
- 2+ Years of maintenance experience in a commercial or office environment
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, Electrical and plumbing systems
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Work Experience
At least 1 Year of Experience
Annual Salary
$44,900 - $61,710
