Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Sr. Manager, Business Development, Mexico Franchise! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. The Franchise Sr. Manager will be responsible to lead and set the LT growth agenda for our anchor distributor in Mexico within our branded business. His/her focus will be to work in collaboration with our business partner to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop commercial strategies and develop strategic plans to achieve our business goals in the market.

This position requires a high level of management at all levels within the organization to define a business ambition while at the same time ensure that business initiatives are thoroughly executed at the point of sale and at the same time lead business conversations around business value chain, becoming the ultimate responsible for the P&L of Ocean Spray within the distributor.

The Franchise Sr. Manager fosters a collaborative work environment, empowering distributor’s commercial team to work seamlessly while inspiring, providing tools and benchmarks for them to pursue higher goals. Through strategic leadership, clear communication, and a culture of mutual respect, the role ensures accountability, continuous development, and high-performance execution, driving sustained success in Mexico.

A Day in the Life...

  • Develop and implement strategic vision for the Branded BU in Mexico in alignment with global business objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities, assess market dynamics, and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Lead long-term business planning and scenario analysis to ensure sustainability and scalability and provide thought leadership to commit and inspire our current distribution partner to achieve those goals
  • Own the P&L BU, ensuring revenue, profit, and margin targets are consistently achieved.
  • Prepare, manage, and report financial budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses to support business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, local copackers, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure compliance with LATAM regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Work with internal team members (R&D, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service) to communicate customer needs and work together to resolve issues.
  • Maintain current business, regain lost business and create opportunities for growth of new business.
  • Ensures all office activities meet corporate duty and tax strategy guidelines and recommends necessary actions to the home office to further product, technical and business development.
  • Directly and indirectly manages internal and external staff to accomplish required results.
  • Drive monthly sales delivery, results and deliver 12 month forecasting, overseeing Sales partner results and forecasting.
  • Act as driving force in new initiatives & product launches.
  • Design, develop and execute commercial strategy across channels (price, promotion guidelines, pack formats by channels).
  • Regularly review and update distributor contract terms.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable navigating uncertainty in a startup-style, fast-paced environment, with the ability to drive innovation, make agile decisions, and adapt quickly to evolving market conditions and unforeseen challenges.
  • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales functions, responsibilities, and business unit organization.
  • Selling Strategies: Ability to leverage tools, techniques, and tactics to drive product sales—preferably in the food & beverages industry.
  • Sales & Marketing Acumen: Strong grasp of key tasks and activities required for market positioning and brand growth.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Ability to utilize customer profiles and data to enhance engagement and drive sales performance.
  • Sales Channel Knowledge: Understanding of Ocean Spray's current distribution channels and opportunities for new market penetration.
  • Product Line Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Ocean Spray’s in-store offerings and product development pipeline.
  • Financial Expertise: Skilled in P&L management, business planning, and budget forecasting to ensure long-term profitability.

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
