Spanning 36 locations nationwide, we service Hilton, Marriott, Disney, Kura Sushi, and many other nationwide brands along with smaller locations such as restaurants, assisted living facilities, supermarkets, warehouses, and even nuclear power stations.

Role Summary

RobotLAB is hiring a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical authority during the pre‑sales cycle for B2B robotics solutions. You’ll partner with Sales to run technical discovery, recommend the right robot configuration, support demos/POCs, and ensure we sell solutions that are feasible, secure, and deployable. You do not own delivery, but you ensure Implementation receives a clean, accurate handoff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical authority during the pre‑sales cycle for B2B robotics solutions
  • Assess customer environments, workflows, and use cases to recommend the appropriate robot models and configurations
  • Support onsite demos and proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), including setup, validation, and defining success criteria
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and deployment architectures
  • Lead technical discovery alongside Sales Consultants to identify constraints, risks, and dependencies
  • Draft and review Scopes of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with Sales and Implementation teams
  • Address technical objections related to performance, safety, IT/networking, security, and integrations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and Implementation to ensure accurate handoff and feasibility
  • Validate customer infrastructure readiness (network, elevators, doors, safety, power, IT policies)
  • Support pricing accuracy by defining technical scope, effort, and complexity drivers
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of robot platforms, software, accessories, and partner solutions
  • Contribute to sales enablement materials (technical playbooks, demo scripts, best practices)
  • Identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies prior to contract execution
  • Support post‑sale escalations when technical clarification is required (without owning delivery)

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in pre‑sales technical roles (Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer/Implementation Consultant/Field Engineer)
  • Strong understanding of networking basics (Wi‑Fi/LAN, VLANs, firewalls concepts), security posture, and IT stakeholder collaboration
  • Comfort presenting and translating technical detail to non‑technical buyers (Ops, Facilities, IT)
  • Ability to run structured discovery and document requirements clearly
  • Willingness to travel for onsite demos/POCs as needed
  • Strong written skills for SOWs, diagrams, and handoff documentation
