RobotLAB Miami covers Miami-Dade and Monroe County and is building a strong local presence with hands-on demos, implementation, and long-term support.

About the Role

We are hiring a Territory Sales Manager in Miami. This is a field-based role focused on prospecting, live demos, and closing multi-stakeholder deals. This is not an inside sales role. You will spend most of your time visiting facilities, meeting decision makers, and running demos.

Sales cycles can range from 3 to 12 months depending on the customer and budget cycle. If you are persistent, organized, and comfortable selling higher-ticket solutions with long cycles, you will do well here.

What You Will Do

  • Prospect daily using cold calls, drop-ins, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local events
  • Engage decision makers and qualify opportunities across warehouses, hotels, assisted living, hospitals, property management, and other facility-based operations
  • Conduct on-site demos using company equipment and company van access
  • Build and manage pipeline in CRM with disciplined follow-up and next-step scheduling
  • Prepare quotes and proposals and move deals through approval and procurement processes
  • Attend trade shows and host or co-host demo events to generate leads
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and build long-term customer relationships
  • Physical requirement: lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 75 pounds

Who We Are Looking For (Must Have)

  • 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience selling one of the following:

- Commercial cleaning equipment

- Industrial equipment or machinery

- Facility services sold to operations leaders (janitorial, waste, building services)

- Medical or healthcare capital equipment

- Security or building systems sold into facilities

  • Proven success selling deals with typical value of $25,000+ and longer sales cycles (3+ months)
  • Comfortable prospecting without inbound leads and without an SDR
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort running live demos on-site
  • Strong follow-up discipline, CRM hygiene, and time management
  • Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving daily across Miami-Dade
  • Local candidate preferred: within 20 to 25 miles of zip code 33170

Strongly Preferred

  • Spanish fluency (preferred, not required)
  • Experience selling into warehouses, logistics, hospitality, healthcare, assisted living, or property management
  • Experience running pilots or trials and selling operational outcomes and ROI based on labor efficiency

Not a Fit For This Role

To avoid wasting your time, this role is not a fit if your background is primarily:

  • SaaS or inside sales only
  • Short-cycle transactional sales with same-day closes
  • Roles where you relied heavily on inbound leads
  • Roles where you did not do consistent cold outreach or field prospecting
  • B2C sales backgrounds
  • Telecom style B2B selling (AT&T, Verizon, internet, phone plans, merchant services)
  • Pest control or route-based recurring service sales models
  • Solar, roofing, windows, or other residential home services sales
  • Real estate agent, mortgage, or residential-focused sales roles
  • Any role centered mainly on price comparison, promotions, or short contracts instead of operational ROI and multi-stakeholder B2B buying processes

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $85,000 (W-2)
  • OTE at $1M quota: $150,000 uncapped
  • Top performers can exceed $160,000 to $170,000 with over-quota performance and accelerators
