Role overview
We’re seeking a high-energy, hunter-closer Sales Manager to drive new business across Northern Virginia. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to proposals and close—working closely with SDRs and franchise partners. This is a hands-on role: you’ll run live demonstrations, develop compelling proposals and SOWs, and act as the primary customer contact through implementation handoff.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end opportunity management: prospecting, qualification, onsite/virtual demos, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
- Deliver tailored, world-class product demonstrations that align with customers’ operational needs.
- Accept and advance SDR handoffs, responding within one business day and collaborating to qualify opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and opportunities after ownership is assumed.
- Co-sell with and mentor franchise partners during onboarding until they reach proficiency.
- Draft clear, compelling Statements of Work, quotes, and financial proposals; coordinate lead and manufacturer registrations with Sales Ops.
- Keep accurate opportunity data and activity in Salesforce; follow established sales processes and SOPs.
- Track and report pipeline metrics and meet quota and KPIs.
- Partner with product, support, and deployment teams to ensure smooth handoffs and customer success.
Required qualifications
- 3+ years B2B field sales experience (capital equipment, SaaS + Hardware, or enterprise services preferred).
- Proven track record managing full sales cycles and closing complex deals.
- Strong demo and presentation skills; comfortable with technical subject matter and live onsite demos.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce strongly preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce proposals and SOWs.
- Willingness to travel within the territory for demos, site surveys, and meetings.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
- Experience selling robotics, automation, facility services, or to hospitality, commercial real estate, or facilities management.
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior sellers or franchise partners.
- Familiarity with manufacturer lead-registration processes and channel selling.
