Spanning 36 locations nationwide, we service Hilton, Marriott, Disney, Kura Sushi, and many other nationwide brands along with smaller locations such as restaurants, assisted living facilities, supermarkets, warehouses, and even nuclear power stations.

Role Summary

RobotLAB is hiring a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical authority across our pre-sales cycle and product ecosystem — spanning VR education platforms, robotic arms, humanoids, drones, and AI-powered applications. You'll onboard new products, build customer-facing training resources, and fulfill technical requirements for enterprise and higher education clients. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in making complex technology work for real users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of products and related software
  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and recommendations for robotics packages tailored to customer needs.
  • Ensure support for customers and internal teams, including product trainings, troubleshooting and occasional repairs
  • Document hardware setup, software configuration, APIs/SDKs, and integration requirements for each new product
  • Assist in the testing and technical onboarding of new products
  • Provide training and unboxing support to customers for a variety of robot models
  • Assess customer environments, workflows, and use cases to recommend the appropriate robot models and configurations
  • Support fulfillment of large-scale deployments, including technical configuration, documentation and training

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, solutions engineering, a technical integration role, or a pre‑sales technical role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Field Engineer)
  • Ability to read, write and present technical detail to non‑technical users
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software environments
  • Experience working with robotics platforms, hardware APIs, or embedded systems
  • Willing to travel for onsite demos/POCs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with NAO, Pepper, Unitree, Dobot, or similar robot platforms
  • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++
  • Familiarity with elevators, door access systems, safety environments, or deployment constraints in live facilities
  • Experience partnering closely with Implementation and/or Delivery teams and running readiness checklists
  • Familiarity with Android development or mobile platform compatibility work
  • Experience with educational technology platforms, STEM Education or EdTech
  • Experience supporting higher education or enterprise clients

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a builder — you are not satisfied until the thing actually works
  • You are a communicator — you can explain a complex technical issue to a non-technical customer without breaking a sweat
  • You are self-directed — you can manage multiple products and priorities without someone telling you what to do next
  • You are curious — new hardware lands on your desk and your first instinct is to figure out how it works
  • You take ownership — when something is broken, you don't wait for someone else to fix it
