Role summary

We’re hiring an energetic, hunter-closer Account Executive to drive new business across our Northern Virginia territory. You’ll own the sales cycle from prospecting, demo to close, collaborate closely with SDRs and franchise partners, and accelerate adoption of robotic solutions at enterprise and mid-market customers. This is a hands-on role — you’ll demo robots, build proposals and SOWs, and be the primary point-of-contact for customers through implementation handoff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email or social media outreach, and in-person visits.
  • Build relationships with restaurant owners, hospitality operators, commercial businesses, and facility managers throughout Northern Virginia.
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings, site visits, and live robot demonstrations.
  • Qualify customer needs and recommend robotics solutions that improve operational efficiency and address staffing challenges.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales presentations with support from the RobotLAB team.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline activity in the CRM.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity goals, including outbound calls, customer meetings, and pipeline generation.
  • Represent RobotLAB at networking events, trade shows, and community business organizations.
  • Coordinate with technical and deployment teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding after a sale.

Qualifications (required)

· 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an outside sales or business development role.

· Hospitality industry sales experience is highly preferred, such as selling products or services to restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, or commercial facilities.

· Demonstrated ability to generate new business through prospecting and relationship building.

· Highly energetic, motivated, and comfortable initiating conversations with prospective customers.

· Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision while managing sales territory.

· Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

· Comfortable learning and demonstrating new technology.

· Basic CRM experience (Salesforce or similar CRM preferred).

· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Northern Virginia.

Preferred

  • Experience selling to restaurants, hotels, senior living communities, or commercial facilities.
  • Experience with outside sales, territory sales, or account development.
  • Interest in robotics, automation, AI, or emerging technologies.
  • Existing network within the Northern Virginia hospitality or commercial business community is a plus.
