We are looking for a highly motivated Brand Designer to build our in-house Creative Design team. The candidate must be a strong creative thinker that follows current trends and has good understanding of the digital-native, mobile-led, social world. We are looking for a self-driven designer with smart, thoughtful designs, pixel-perfection, and an unmatched eye for detail. Whose taste, aesthetic and point of view aligns with Rootine’s elevated yet human visual universe. Design is central to what we do, and it’s the Brand Designer’s responsibility to grasp our brand identity and communicate it effectively across all channels and platforms, both online and offline.
Experience in creating smart designs, outstanding animation/video and the ability to demonstrate excellent use of typography, color and composition are core to success in this job. This position reports to Rootine’s Director of Brand Marketing.
Brand Asset Creation: Collaborate with the Brand Team to design turn-key brand templates, ensuring consistency and impact across various platforms.
Email Design: Craft compelling email designs that captivate readers, driving engagement and conversion.
Print & Collateral: Harness your design finesse to create print materials and brand collateral that truly stand out and resonate.
Social Media: Design visually stunning social media graphics that align with brand voice and aesthetics. Stay up to date on social media marketing trends and design templates to keep us on the cutting edge. Assist in the completion of content calendars.
Create brilliant, innovative and carefully crafted motion work, animated gifs and videos for web and social media platforms.
Website UX Design: In collaboration with the product team, contribute to website designs, ensuring seamless user experience and aesthetic cohesiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with various teams to ensure that design outputs seamlessly intertwine with overall brand strategy and objectives.
Communicate a point of view on design trends and actively bring those references and inspiration to the team.
Always create an environment that is collaborative, dependable, insightful, innovative, memorable, passionate, agile, driven, diverse, analytical, and deliberate.
Excellent taste, sense of aesthetics, typography and composition skills, and color sensibility.
Understanding of platform/social channel nuances.

Highly organized and detailed, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Adapts easily to change and demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals and priorities.
Have an in-depth technical knowledge of product development as it relates to graphic design.
A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in Brand Design.
Proven experience in both digital and print design, with a portfolio that speaks to your versatility and expertise.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite + Figma.
Knowledge of UX principles and best practices, with the ability to apply them in website design.
Experience in animation and interaction design - ability to edit videos for social media.
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to translate feedback and insights into design iterations.
An innovative spirit, always on the lookout for emerging design trends and best practices.
Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in remote team settings.
