Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Field Officer at Rwazi. The Field Officer is responsible for mapping and overseeing all mapping operations on the ground. This role involves recruiting and managing a team of mappers, coordinating fieldwork, and ensuring that mappers receive the support they need to successfully complete their task.

Key Responsibilities

Mapping Coordination:

• To map and coordinate all mapping activities on the ground, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
• Create and use strategies for field mapping that match company goals.
• Track mapping progress and give regular updates to the management team.
  

Mapper Recruitment:

• Lead the recruitment efforts for mappers across different regions.
• Identify potential mapper talent and onboard them effectively.
• Ensure a robust pipeline of qualified mappers to meet project demands.
  

Mapper Support:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for mappers, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Provide ongoing training and resources to support mapper performance and data quality.
