Job Details:
Work schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 p.m. (onsite)
Salary range: $80,000 to 110,000 (pay will be commensurate with experience)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Technical Services Specialist will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through our hardware and software features and capabilities, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Serve as first point of contact, supporting installation and service guidance to ensure seamless and successful implementation of our technologies.
- Experience in the aviation industry.
- Play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues, providing timely solutions, and contributing to the overall success of our customers’ experience.
- Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Experience using test equipment to analyze electrical circuits.
- Demonstrate familiarity with software programming languages, a bonus.
- You must be willing to travel and participate in flight testing of new products if required.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
- Demonstrate effective communication and people skills.
- Support the Repair Department, Production, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Testing Engineering and Systems Engineering.
- Train our customers in all Safe Flight products. As part of that responsibility, you will also write applicable Guides/Manuals/Procedures.
- Safe Flight has one shift; Technical Services will manage all after-hour communications.
- Associate degree or College degree or Military experience preferred.
- Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Four years’ experience in electrical and avionics systems troubleshooting and repair (Military, OJT or College) required.
- Must be eligible to acquire security clearance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Associate degree or College degree or Military experience preferred.
- Previous experience in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Four years’ experience in electrical and avionics systems troubleshooting and repair (Military, OJT or College) required.
