Position: Temporary- Part Time Facility Maintenance Worker- may transition to permanent based on performance and business needs.
Full-Time: Hours from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Onsite Monday through Friday
Hourly rate: $18/hour 20-30 hours per week
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of hygiene in the cafeteria area, including tables, chairs, countertops, and kitchen equipment. Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Regularly empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins. Ensure proper disposal and adherence to waste management protocols.
- Monitor and report any malfunctioning kitchen equipment, appliances, or fixtures.
- Keep track of cafeteria supplies such as napkins, utensils, and cleaning materials. Restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Required to interact with coworkers and all other departments in a professional manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a cafeteria or food service setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs when needed.
Education and Experience:
- At least two years’ related experience required.
