Salary: $71,000 - $90,000 / yr + stock options, 401k matching, and other benefits
Role Overview
At Seasats, the Fleet Maintenance Administrator tracks the configuration and operational readiness of each unmanned surface vessel in the field. Across a growing worldwide fleet, this role seeks to identify and eliminate mission risk by ensuring vehicle hardware, software and payloads are up to date and in good working order for our customers. This role will work to collect data and build scalable processes to maximize vehicle uptime, ensuring our autonomous surface vessels are ready to meet the expectations of demanding missions.
Working closely with engineering under the customer success umbrella, this role will track the release of hardware and software upgrades, track maintenance schedules for major and minor refits, and promptly identify out-revved and at-risk parts. Maintaining dashboards and metrics, this person monitors the general health of the fleet, while detailed analytics inform response to customers maintenance requirements and engineering R&D decisions.
Role Details:
In this role, you will:
- Operate Seasats’ vehicle configuration and maintenance management systems
- Maintain high-level and vehicle-specific dashboards tracking hardware, software, and payload configurations
- Coordinate with Seasats management the rollout of technical / engineering directives, software updates, and hardware upgrades
- Manage and track preventative maintenance schedules, refits, and overhauls
- Prepare reports tracking vehicle downtime and causes
- Collaborate and assist with development of project plans and manage resources to ensure our end use customers are taken care of
- Assist in the development of project plans and manage necessary resources to ensure exceptional support for our end-use customer
- Communicate fleet health, risks, and progress to internal leadership and stakeholders
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- Identify and assess fleet issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet program commitments and customer objectives
About You:
You are highly organized, data-driven, and thrive in environments where operations, systems, and real-world performance intersect. You think in terms of fleets, systems, and readiness -- not just individual tasks.
- 2-3 years of experience in fleet maintenance, operations, logistics, or related administrative support roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, or equivalent system for data tracking, reporting, and organization
- Experience maintaining and administering fleet maintenance or asset management systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately collect, organize, and report data
- Ability to support teams by providing data insights that inform operational and maintenance decisions
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Capable of coordinating across internal teams and supporting communication with external stakeholders
- Willing and able to engage with vehicles in the field to support maintenance tracking and operational readiness
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. military facilities
