Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Seedsight’s product roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and technical capabilities.
- Translate complex technical concepts (AI, photonics, optical sensors readouts and spectrum analysis) into clear and compelling value propositions for non-technical audiences.
- Conduct competitive and market analyses to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging industry trends.
- Support the creation of go-to-market strategies and business cases for new products and market verticals/create product/sales materials and one pagers/product memos.
- Ensure strong product–market fit by validating value propositions with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop value-based pricing models and commercial strategies that align with Seedsight’s value creation and growth objectives.
- Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with potential clients, distributors, and research partners.
- Support pilot projects, partnership agreements, and commercial negotiations and strategic meetings with clients.
- Represent Seedsight in industry events, conferences, and strategic forums within the agri-food and food-tech sectors.
- Foster customer success and retention through optimized onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Propose commercial annual budget and sales pipeline.
- Work closely with the CEO and founding team on fundraising activities, including preparation of financial projections, and stakeholder communications.
- Support revenue modeling, scenario planning, and long-term business forecasting.
- Align financial and commercial planning with Seedsight’s scaling roadmap and investor/shareholders expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or product commercialization, ideally in agri-food, SaaS, or deep tech environments.
- Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience managing B2B product lifecycles — from go-to-market through adoption and growth.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of bridging technical and commercial worlds.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (additional European languages as Spanish and/or French are a plus).
- Entrepreneurial mindset — self-driven, adaptable, and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
