We're a travel experiences platform that connects travellers to incredible communities, conservationists and artisans across Asia. Why the role is fun

We don’t have layers of bureaucracy at Seek Sophie, and we’re allergic to anything corporate. If you have a hooky content idea or a new way of telling a story on IG - we can’t wait to see it! There’s no fixed way of doing things, just better ways of doing things.

You'll also get to tell the most meaningful stories in Asia - stories about Katni the first woman guide to climb Rinjani when women weren't allowed to, or Wayan the firefly conservationist who spends 18 months just to rescue a single firefly in Bali. Stories about dreamers, rebels and optimists creating a better world through travel.

Oh yes, and you’ll get to travel and do really cool experiences too, because we test our experiences, meet our hosts and find out their stories!

This isn’t for everyone

We want someone who is energised by our mission, who wants to do excellent work and who really wants to make a difference with their work.

There’s very little bureaucracy or hierarchy here. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, taking initiative and figuring things out without waiting for instructions. So if a messy problem makes you curious, great. If it makes you freeze until someone gives you a step-by-step brief, this probably isn’t the right role for you.

We’re a small team, so nothing is ever really “someone else’s job”. If you love strategising but don’t want to execute, or if details really aren’t your thing, it’s probably not a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll primarily be responsible for content for Seek Sophie on Instagram, and you'll get a lot of leeway in how you tell stories! You'll also get to engage with our community through in-person events or collabs, and shape our brand through cool campaigns, storytelling and new creative ideas.

Job requirements

• Based in Singapore
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience (preferably Digital Marketing, Content Creation)
• Comfortable shooting, speaking on camera and editing short-form video (IG & TikTok)
• Strong storytelling instincts - you know how to make people care
• Able to take strong photos
• Strong writing skills
• A good eye for design

Hiring Process

It's a pretty straightforward process. We’ll first look through your application. If we love what we see, we’ll ask you to do a pre-interview task. If we love your task too, we’ll invite you in for an interview. And that's it!
