Business Development Manager – Europe

Electricity Grid & Autonomous Inspection
Location: UK or EU

Our world-leading platform enables autonomous, beyond-visual-line-of-sight inspection of critical national infrastructure. We don’t just fly drones — we deliver structured, repeatable, high-quality data that enables digital twins, predictive maintenance, and better asset decision-making.



We are already operating with National Grid and are now expanding to support other grid operators in Europe and the US.


This is not a transactional drone-services role. It is a consultative sale into the electricity grid sector, where technical credibility, product understanding, and commercial discipline matter.



The Role

You will drive commercial expansion across the European electricity grid sector, owning opportunities from first conversation through to contract signature.



This role requires someone who can quickly build a deep understanding of our product and engage credibly with technical stakeholders, articulating both the technical detail and the commercial impact of our solution.



You will operate at the intersection of autonomy, data, and infrastructure — helping utilities adopt new inspection models that support digital twins, asset monitoring, and long-term asset performance strategies.


What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and managing relationships with TSOs and DSOs across Europe

  • Identifying and progressing high-value opportunities within asset management and engineering teams

  • Conducting structured discovery and detailed needs assessments

  • Translating autonomous inspection capability into clear operational and financial value

  • Supporting the positioning of digital twin, asset monitoring, and condition assessment solutions

  • Leading complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles

  • Navigating European tenders and public procurement processes

  • Working closely with engineering and operations teams to shape technically credible proposals




Who We’re Looking For

You may come from infrastructure, energy, inspection, robotics, autonomy, or enterprise technology sales.


What matters most is your ability to understand complex technical solutions and represent them credibly in conservative, regulated markets.


You should:

  • Have a strong track record of consultative enterprise sales

  • Be fluent in English plus at least one major European language

  • Be comfortable operating in a high-growth scale-up environment

  • Have the technical literacy to engage confidently with engineering-led teams

  • Be proactive, organised, and commercially disciplined
