Safety & Regulatory Coordinator – Unmanned Aerial Systems
Chichester | Full-time | On-site
Help shape how advanced unmanned systems operate safely in the real world.
At sees.ai, we are building a system that enables unmanned aerial systems to carry out inspections of critical national infrastructure — making these operations repeatable, scalable, and commercially viable.
Our systems are already operating in live environments, and we work closely with aviation authorities to help ensure advanced operations are delivered safely and responsibly in practice.
We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good judgement, and an interest in quality, safety, and regulation to help support and develop our regulatory and safety function as the company grows.
This is an opportunity to work close to cutting-edge technology and real-world operations, while developing deep expertise in one of the fastest-evolving areas of aviation and unmanned systems.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the CTO, the operations team, and external regulatory contractors to help support sees.ai’s regulatory and safety activities as operations expand in the UK and internationally.
Your work will include:
Supporting regulatory applications and operational approvals in the UK, Europe and the US.
Drafting supporting documentation to assist the operations’ team understanding of our regulatory framework.
Helping ensure operations align with regulatory requirements
Coordinating updates to safety and operational procedures
Supporting audits and regulatory reviews
Working with operations and engineering teams to understand how proposed activities fit within regulatory frameworks
Monitoring changes in UK and international regulations
Who This Role Is Suited To
This role would suit someone with:
A strong academic background in a discipline with a significant focus on documentation review, data analysis, and generally attention to detail (e.g. STEM, Law, Economics)
Exposure to safety, airworthiness, quality, regulatory, or operational compliance environments. Ideally in an aerospace environment, but other regulatory areas are also of interest.
A genuine interest in safety, quality, regulation, or operational standards
The ability to think carefully and work systematically in complex environments
Care about accuracy and doing things properly
Enjoy understanding how systems and processes work
Have strong attention to detail
Can balance structure with pragmatism
Are curious about how advanced technology operates in the real world
Want to develop expertise in a fast-moving and evolving field
As the company scales, the scope and impact of this role can grow significantly.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to operations, engineering, safety, and regulatory strategy in a fast-moving environment. Over time, there is genuine opportunity to take on broader ownership and become a key part of how sees.ai scales internationally.
Progress comes from trust, judgement, and delivery — not titles.
