Sendbird is looking for a solution-oriented, creative, and data-driven lifecycle marketer who will strategize and execute the way we connect with customers to drive engagement across multiple phases of the user journey, inclusive of lead nurture paths, in-product retention, conversion of free trial-to-paid users, and ongoing engagement via traditional marketing channels like email and on/offline events.

What you’ll be do

  • Build and execute the lifecycle marketing strategy to increase leads to MQLS, increase free trial-to-paid users, and increase customer engagement.
  • Develop a comprehensive communication matrix across:
    • User personas
    • Pre- and post-sale lifecycle stages
    • Evergreen or campaign-driven
    • Product interest
  • Build automations, ie. data triggers, so that contextual communication is sent to the right person in a timely manner
  • Write and optimize conversion rates of Sendbird lead nurture emails, product release announcements, customer webinar signups, and customer newsletters via continuous testing across:
    • Copy and visual content
    • Timing
    • Sequence
    • Channel
  • Partner with product management and product marketing to set up and iterate in-product tool tips, user onboarding, announcements, and promotions that convert free trial users into customers, customers into upsell/x-sell opportunities
  • Manage cross-functionally to identify new opportunities and ensure accurate data flow between Sendbird’s product database, CRM, and marketing tech stack
  • Collaborate with leaders across functions, including product, ops, sales, and CX to ensure GTM alignment

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years in a mix of B2B and B2C marketing roles with a proven track record in SaaS or API as a service businesses
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep track of multiple moving pieces at once and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, and in-product tools
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset; expertise with Marketo and Salesforce required; Gainsight PX is a plus
  • Fluency in English language; proficiency in Korean a strong plus

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000. This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market. We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.
