We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Executive who can support and grow our largest customers and continue to challenge them to increase in-app chat adoption as part of their core user experience in various use cases. We expect you to develop your own leads, transform the imagination of customers and developers, close and grow strategic mega-deals. We value a tenacious work ethic and being relentlessly resourceful.
What you will do
- Manage a defined set of current Sendbird large-scale strategic customers, engaging in a continual selling effort to enhance the value of the Sendbird solution and expand revenue opportunities beyond the initial subscription business.
- Focus on building relationships across a range of functions within the customer organization to include Product and Engineering. Interact at both the senior executive and operational management level to effectively convey the Sendbird value proposition and promote use and adoption within the customer organization.
- Manage multiple complex sales efforts simultaneously, supporting a renewal base of multiple millions of dollars in annual revenue.
- Forecast business accurately and close both new and renewal revenue opportunities for Sendbird.
- Articulate the Sendbird value proposition to senior business leaders like the CTO or CPO based on a deep understanding of the Sendbird solution; solve problems promptly and efficiently by marshaling cross-functional Sendbird resources in order to address customer issues and concerns.
- Be passionate about ensuring our customers realize significant value with Sendbird.
What you bring to the table
- Requires a minimum of 8-10 years of highly successful strategic technology sales experience and/or large account management experience, with a demonstrated track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quotas.
- Experience in selling a Saas solution to Product and Engineering business segments.
- Exceptional with verbal and written communication
- Deep understanding of SDK/API business and/or a quick learner in B2B technology product space
- Relentless work ethic and dedication towards customers
- A fast learner with a high level of energy, positivity, and a sense of humor
- English native who can cover accounts in Indonesia, India, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan
- Strong alignment with company values
Even better if you offer
- Experience selling cloud-based and/or middle-ware solutions to developers and product managers
- Experience in vertical industries (on-demand, e-commerce, health care, banking, fintech, etc.)
