About Your Role: The Sales Engineering team plays a central role in Sensei’s go-to-market execution. Positioned between Sales, Product, Engineering and Operations, the team ensures that customer needs are correctly understood and translated into technically sound and operationally viable solutions.

Sales Engineering supports complex sales cycles, solution design, and partner enablement, helping Sensei scale in a structured and repeatable way while staying aligned with the product vision.

How Can You Help?: We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to help shape and scale Sensei’s pre-sales capabilities.

In close collaboration with Sales Leadership, you will support enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, lead technical discovery and solution design, and act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, partners and internal teams. You will also help bring structure, consistency and clarity to how Sensei presents and delivers its solutions.
This role requires a strong balance between technical understanding, commercial awareness and leadership.

Daily at Sensei, you will:

  • Lead sales workshops sessions with customers and partners;
  • Design end-to-end solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives;
  • Support complex sales cycles from early qualification through deal closure;
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Act as the main technical and operational reference during pre-sales engagements;
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and influence roadmap discussions;
  • Help standardise pre-sales processes, tools and documentation;
  • Support partner enablement from a technical and solution design perspective;
  • Mentor and support other Sales Engineers as the team grows;
  • Continuously improve how Sensei positions and packages its solutions.


You Will Bring to the Table:

  • An Engineering Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience);
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineering;
  • Experience working with complex, software-based platforms and systems integration;
  • Strong ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer value;
  • Comfort working with enterprise customers and multi-stakeholder sales processes;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Fluent in English (Spanish or French is a plus);
  • Nice-to-have:
    • Experience in retail, automation, AI-based systems or complex operational environments;
    • Experience supporting partner-led or channel-driven sales models;
    • Previous experience helping to build or scale a pre-sales or solution engineering function.


After Six Months, Success Means:

  • Gain a deep understanding and become a subject matter expert on the Sensei solution;
  • Successfully supported and influenced multiple enterprise deals;
  • Demonstrated ownership of solution design and pre-sales execution;
  • Improved consistency and quality of Sensei’s pre-sales approach;
  • Built strong working relationships with Sales, Product and Engineering;
  • Contributed to clearer solution packaging, documentation or internal processes.
