What you’ll be doing

Define a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and market opportunities.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

Create a product roadmap that outlines the product's short-term and long-term goals and the features required to achieve them.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and development teams, to gather and prioritise product requirements.

Determine feature priorities based on business value, customer feedback, and market analysis.

Work with designers and UX teams to ensure the product's user interface and user experience meet customer expectations.

Work closely with development teams to guide product development, provide clarifications, and make critical decisions.

Collaborate on release planning, including feature sets, release schedules, and go-to-market strategies.

Effectively communicate the product strategy, roadmap, and status to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Oversee product testing and gather user feedback to iteratively improve the product.

Use data and analytics to monitor product performance, make data-driven decisions, and identify areas for improvement.

Manage the budget allocated to the product, making decisions on resource allocation and cost control.

Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the product's success.

Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and advocate for the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.

Apply best security practices within their specific field. Guides junior staff on security matters related to their work. Understands the security implications of their decisions and their role in maintaining compliance.

What we're looking for in you

• Proven track record in product management, including product design, technical development, and working with cross-functional teams in the tech space.
• In-depth experience in Payments, Fraud, Financial Crime, or Financial Services is essential to understand the complexities and regulations in fintech.
• A strong passion for the fintech industry and delivering best-in-class product suites that drive innovation and customer satisfaction.
• Proven ability to work in a product-led, fast-paced, and dynamic fintech environment, aligning teams around a shared product vision.
• Skilled in managing relationships across all levels of the organisation, including executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Able to remain calm and measured in all conversations.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including push payments, data products, loyalty and offers, and authorisation capabilities. Awareness of key challenges and opportunities in these areas.
• Excellent business acumen with a bias for action, a passion for continuous learning, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid experience working within Agile development frameworks, including creating Epics, User Stories, and writing clear Acceptance Criteria.
• A deep, empathetic understanding of users gained through research, interviews, data analysis, and usability testing, to ensure products meet real user needs.
