As a Payments Intern, you will play a vital role in our financial operations. You’ll be responsible for the human element of our security—verifying that funds go exactly where they are supposed to.
Responsibilities
Accuracy Guard: Conduct checks on payment files to catch errors and prevent fraud before money leaves the building.
Claimant Support: Act as the first point of contact, answering phone inquiries and providing status updates to claimants.
Professional Correspondence: Manage the payments inbox, replying to emails and guiding claimants through the verification process.
Data Management: Review and validate bank details and identification documents for new payees.
What we're looking for in you:
Eagle-Eyed Detail: You spot the typo in a spreadsheet that everyone else misses.
Communication Pro: You can explain complex processes over the phone with clarity and empathy.
Integrity: You understand the importance of handling sensitive financial data with total discretion.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with Excel and quick to learn new CRM or payment software.
Kick-off: 9th March
Duration: At least 4 weeks, with potential for more
