Impact and Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on, creative Marketing Executive to drive our tactical marketing and support revenue growth. This execution-focused Executive will own our editorial messaging, manage social channels, maintain our website presence, and launch targeted campaigns to build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for our sales team. Combining creative thinking with fiscal responsibility, you will also fully manage our events presence and marketing budget to maximize ROI.
Lead Generation: Drive daily lead generation by prioritising high-quality, sales-ready prospects, ensuring a steady stream of qualified leads is handed over to the sales team.
Editorial Ownership: Own and manage the overarching editorial messaging strategy. Draft, design, and distribute engaging content across various channels to build a cohesive brand presence and support lead generation.
Website & CRM Management: Take ownership of daily website updates and optimisation using our CRM; HubSpot. Build and refine landing pages to drive high-quality traffic and improve conversion rates.
Events Management: Act as the strategic and operational lead for Shieldpay’s participation in industry events. Own and manage our entire event presence, from calendar to execution, ensuring all efforts directly contribute to our revenue goals.
Budget Management: Responsibly manage and track the allocated marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficiency, handling variances, and maximizing ROI across all campaigns and events.
Marketing Assets: Develop compelling sales materials and client collateral that clearly articulate value propositions, supporting business development and strengthening client relationships.
Social Media: Manage our social media presence, create daily/weekly posts, engage with our community, and monitor industry conversations.
Campaign Execution: Launch and manage campaigns focused on revenue, lead acquisition, and specific product features.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of your campaigns, website updates, and events, providing clear, simple reporting on metrics like spend, clicks, engagement, and leads generated.
Industry Relations: Build and maintain relationships with industry experts to stay ahead of regulatory developments, translating insights into meaningful client engagement strategies and communications.
Employer Brand: Support the People team by highlighting our company culture on social channels.
Cross-Functional Support: Act as the marketing point-of-contact ensuring all assets align with our core values and messaging.
What we're looking for in you
Proven experience in B2B marketing. A plus if you have working knowledge of the Financial Services sector and a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape to ensure all marketing activities are compliant.
A natural creative thinker who can look beyond standard marketing approaches to solve problems, cut through the noise, and produce content/campaigns that convert interest into clicks.
A hands-on executer who thrives in delivery; creating, launching, tracking, and optimising consistent marketing impact with speed and accuracy.
Comfortable measuring campaign performance, tracking metrics like spend, lead volume, and pipeline movement to refine your daily activities.
Practical, recent experience managing website updates and workflows within a CMS, specifically HubSpot or a similar platform.
