Position Overview
Sigma360 is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team and drive our financial strategy and operations. The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, accounting, product pricing, planning, and analysis while ensuring operational excellence and supporting strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
  • Conduct variance analysis and present actionable insights to drive business performance
  • Partner with business unit leaders to support data-driven decision making

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audits
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with executive team on strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and capital allocation decisions
  • Evaluate business cases for new investments, products, or market expansion
  • Transform our product pricing model into one that is more strategic and data-driven
  • Support fundraising activities and investor relations as needed
  • Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives

Team Leadership & Development

  • Develop a high-performing finance team when the company reaches new milestones
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and professional development

Treasury & Risk Management

  • Oversee cash management, working capital optimization, and liquidity planning
  • Manage banking relationships and credit facilities
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and hedging strategies (if applicable)
  • Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk management protocols

Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 2 years in leadership roles
  • Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, and strategic finance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proven track record of driving business results through financial insights
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership experience building and developing teams

Preferred:

  • Experience in the Fintech, Compliance, Financial Crime industries
  • Track record working in high-growth organizations
  • Experience with M&A transactions and integration
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and business models
  • Experience working with venture capital backed companies
  • Big 4 public accounting or investment banking background
